Long Beach DJ // Biscodisco
My good friend Joe has been DJing for the past couple of years. A couple of months back I went with him to an event to see him do his thing. Seeing his passion come through performing and connecting with his audience was special. I knew Joe was a people person, but hearing about his love for DJing during the ride home was special. Connecting with people and ministering to them is at the heart of what Joe is all about. So if you need a great DJ that's also a great person, I know a guy.
Product // Rawmond Milk
Just finished up photography and website design for Rawmond Milk, a great small business from Costa Mesa, CA that specializes in milk made from raw almonds. Check out some lifestyle and studio photography of their bottles!
Engaged // Thomas and Alicia
It's always special when a close friend asks you to be a part of an incredible moment in their life. Thomas and I grew up in the same church, served with one another in the high school group, and traveled down to Mexicali for missions. One of my favorite moments with him was spent driving down the freeway the night I got my driver's licence (no tickets were given).
Thomas met Alicia at their college fellowship at UCI. Through serving with each other in the same ministries at church their relationship grew. I spent a beautiful afternoon with them at their former school as they showed me some of the sights around campus.
Congratulations Thomas and Alicia!
Twenty Fourteen // A Review
Nine Weddings, 20 Portraits and Events, One Trade Show Booth Design, San Francisco, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, two trips to Big Sur, two trips to Seattle, hiking around Mammoth, Hawaii, and countless sunsets.
It's been a growing year for me. I've learned to embrace to challenges, travel on my own, and saying thank you and meaning it. I've become more thankful for people and moments in my life. As I transition out of undergrad, finish up college, and divide my time between photography and grad school, genuine moments and people mean more to me than ever before.
I've grown to teach more and not be afraid of messing up. I've found confidence in my knowledge and skill of photography and design, but still, am reminded of how important it is to remain humble.
God has revealed His sovereign power over my life and I am learning to allow myself to let go of what I want, and submit to His guidance. I've been given the opportunity to encourage our church body through worship and song and ultimately point our worship to God.
I can only hope that 2015 continues the great growth that I've experienced personally. I look forward to sharing it with others.
Thank you for being a part of my life. Thank you for giving me that opportunity to share in intimate and special moments of your life. It means the world to me to know that you believe and support skills that I never thought would get me this far.
So in celebration of God's goodness to us this year, here is a review in pixels and moments that happened in the year 2014. Enjoy!
